Bengaluru: Infosys (NSE: INFY) (BSE: INFY) (NYSE: INFY) today announced the formation of the Infosys Telstra Joint Venture to accelerate AI-powered cloud and digital transformation for Australian enterprises.
As part of this Infosys Telstra joint venture, Infosys will acquire a 75% shareholding in Versent Group, a leading Australian digital transformation solutions provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Group. Telstra will retain a 25% minority stake in Versent, underscoring its confidence in the partnership’s growth potential.
Versent Group, with a team of over 650 engineers, strategists, and advisors across Australia, is recognised for designing and implementing cloud strategies for large organisations in government, education, financial services, energy, and utilities.
Infosys will take operational control, enhancing Versent’s local expertise with its global scale, AI capabilities, and advanced technology platforms.

The Infosys Telstra Joint Venture will integrate:
- Infosys Topaz for AI-first capabilities
- Infosys Cobalt cloud services
- Cybersecurity expertise from The Missing Link
- Telstra’s network and connectivity strengths
- Versent Group’s proven local digital engineering capabilities
This combination aims to deliver secure, resilient, and industry-specific digital solutions to accelerate the innovation and transformation agendas of Australian enterprises and government bodies.

This Infosys Telstra joint venture builds on the long-standing strategic partnership between Infosys and Telstra, which includes multi-year collaborations on software engineering, IT transformation, and technology innovation under Telstra’s Connected Future 30 strategy.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of FY 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
