Indus StartUp Banking: IndusInd Bank Launches Comprehensive Support Programme for Founders

Mumbai: IndusInd Bank has announced the launch of Indus StartUp Banking, a dedicated programme offering 360-degree financial and operational support to early-stage startups across the country.

Targeting the nation’s rapidly expanding startup landscape—currently the third largest in the world with over 1.75 lakh DPIIT-recognised ventures—the programme is designed to meet the unique banking, credit, and beyond-banking needs of entrepreneurs.

Under the Indus StartUp Banking initiative, eligible startups (under 10 years old) can avail:
  • Startup Current Accounts with a three-year waiver on non-maintenance charges
  • Free payment gateway and PoS installation
  • Access to 250+ APIs through a developer portal
  • Payments and collections solutions
  • Corporate salary accounts for employees
  • Tax filing, legal advisory, HRMS, and ESOP management services
  • Access to premium PIONEER lounges in eight major cities—Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Kolkata
  • Exclusive PIONEER personal banking privileges and expert growth sessions for founders

Speaking on the launch, Soumitra Sen, Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing, IndusInd Bank, said: “With Indus StartUp Banking, we aim to stand by the country’s innovative entrepreneurs as more than just a bank—we want to be a long-term partner in their growth journey. This initiative simplifies daily operations, reduces financial friction, and equips founders with the tools they need to scale with confidence.”
