Mumbai: In a significant move to strengthen the Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem in India, Deloitte India has announced a strategic alliance with Embark, a dedicated platform for building and scaling GCCs.

The collaboration is aimed at offering global enterprises an end-to-end solution – from strategy to execution – for establishing and expanding their GCC operations across the country.

As multinational companies increasingly leverage India as a hub for innovation, digital transformation, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and customer experience, the need for comprehensive and agile support frameworks has never been greater.

The Deloitte-Embark alliance is positioned to meet this demand with a robust, integrated offering that spans location strategy, legal and tax structuring, facility setup, talent management, procurement, finance, and compliance.

“GCCs have emerged as strategic drivers of enterprise transformation. They are no longer just back-end support units—they are centres of innovation, digital acceleration, and resilient growth,” said Vinay Prabhakar, South Asia Sales and Alliance Leader at Deloitte India.

“This partnership exemplifies the art of the possible when strategic advisory meets operational execution. Together, we are unlocking new possibilities for global organisations to lead from India on the world stage.”

Deepak Mowdhgalya, Partner at Deloitte India, added, “The growth of GCCs marks a paradigm shift in how global organisations perceive India – not just as a delivery engine but as a strategic hub for innovation. However, many firms struggle to bring their vision to life due to fragmented support. This alliance solves that by combining advisory expertise with ground-level execution.”

Echoing the sentiment, Aravind Maiya, Co-founder & CEO of Embark, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Deloitte India in delivering a first-of-its-kind integrated GCC platform. This collaboration will help global businesses enter and scale in India seamlessly, leveraging world-class infrastructure and support.”

India is rapidly positioning itself as a cornerstone of the global digital economy. Strategic partnerships like this are expected to catalyse further growth, boost employment, and expand the footprint of high-value, innovation-led services across the country.
