GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter Inaugurated in Collaboration with CII Young Indians

GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter

Pune: G H Raisoni International Skill Tech University (GHRISTU), Pune, has officially partnered with Young Indians (Yi), a youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), to launch the GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter – a platform designed to develop leadership, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility among university students.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during a formal event on campus by Raghavendra Bhat, Chair, Yi Pune Chapter, and Dr M U Kharat, Vice Chancellor, GHRISTU.

The newly established GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter will serve as a dynamic student-led initiative aimed at fostering youth involvement in nation-building, innovation, and community service.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with GHRISTU to shape future-ready leaders through the Yi Yuva platform,” said Raghavendra Bhat, Yi Pune Chapter Chair. “This partnership offers students meaningful exposure to civic engagement, leadership development, and industry interaction.”

The event was graced by prominent Yi and CII members including:

  • Sameer Dhamangaonkar, Founder, Snove
  • Rohan Turior, Partner, Innoips & TRIZ Level 3 Trainer
  • Adwait Venkitachalam, Founder, Bizsol Financials
  • Vishal Lall, Director, CII Pune
  • Abhishek Dubey and Pravan Soni from CII

Representing GHRISTU were senior leaders and deans from multiple schools including the Schools of Engineering, Management, and Science. Dr Sonali P Rangdale has been appointed as the Faculty Coordinator for the GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter.

“This collaboration supports our mission of delivering holistic education,” said Dr M U Kharat, Vice Chancellor of GHRISTU. “We believe the Yi Yuva Chapter will enrich our students’ personal and professional growth, equipping them to become socially responsible leaders.”

About the GHRISTU Yi Yuva Chapter

The Yi Yuva initiative is present in over 200 institutions across India and provides students access to leadership training, mentorship opportunities, innovation challenges, and community development projects. The GHRISTU chapter aims to integrate these opportunities with the university’s industry-aligned curriculum, making it a hub of youth-led innovation and impact in Pune.
