Pune: Danfoss Power Solutions has appointed Anup Deshmukh as Managing Director of its India business, effective immediately. In the newly created role, Anup Deshmukh will report directly to Henrik V. Jørgensen, President, Controls division. He will be based in Pune, India.
Danfoss Power Solutions is a global supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulics as well as electric powertrain systems.
In his new role, Anup Deshmukh will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring effective execution of the company’s strategies across India.
As Managing Director, Anup Deshmukh will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
He will also create and execute strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent across multiple functions.
Anup Deshmukh will lead the Danfoss Power Solutions India Leadership Team and represent the Power Solutions segment on the Danfoss India country governance board.

Anup Deshmukh Brings Nearly 28 Years of Experience
Anup Deshmukh brings nearly 28 years of experience spanning sales, business development, general management, manufacturing operations, and strategic growth to his new role at Danfoss Power Solutions.
Before joining Danfoss, Anup Deshmukh was with Parker Hannifin, where he held senior leadership positions across India, China, and Southeast Asia.
Most recently, he served as Country Sales Director within Parker Hannifin’s Filtration, Engineering Material, Instrumentation, Fluid Control, and Motion Control groups in India.
Prior to his tenure at Parker Hannifin, Deshmukh served as Sales Manager for General Electric in India.
Education
Anup Deshmukh holds a degree in chemical engineering from Shivaji University. He also holds diplomas in marketing and business management from NMIMS and ICFAI, respectively.
With his appointment as Managing Director, Deshmukh will oversee the India business of Danfoss Power Solutions and lead its India Leadership Team while representing the Power Solutions segment on the Danfoss India country governance board.
