Jaya Hind Industries to Invest INR 600 Crore Across Pune and Chennai Facilities

Pune/Chennai: Jaya Hind Industries Pvt. Ltd. (JHI), a fully vertically integrated company and a leading global supplier of precision aluminium die-cast components, has announced a ₹600 crore phased investment plan over the next two years to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and capacity across High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) and Gravity Die Casting (GDC).

The investment by Jaya Hind Industries will be implemented across its key manufacturing locations in Pune and Chennai.

The company said the investment is aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities, expanding capacity and strengthening its integrated production infrastructure.

The announcement follows Jaya Hind Industries’ earlier decision to invest ₹200 crore in the expansion of its Chennai facility. The company has now decided to undertake an additional investment of ₹400 crore, taking the total planned investment to ₹600 crore.

Jaya Hind Industries to Invest ₹400 Crore Additional Capital

The additional investment of ₹400 crore will be deployed in a phased manner over two years, covering FY2026–27 to FY2027–28.

The investment will be spread across Jaya Hind Industries’ key manufacturing locations, including Akurdi and Urse in Pune, and Chennai.

As part of the expansion, Jaya Hind Industries will establish a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai.

The company will also install more than 12 new High Pressure Die Casting machines, with capacities ranging from 1,200 tonnes to 3,500 tonnes.

The planned investment will also include a significant enhancement of the company’s precision machining capabilities.

In addition, Jaya Hind Industries will expand critical in-house processes, including heat treatment, impregnation and powder coating.

The company said the investment will also strengthen its overall plant infrastructure across its manufacturing locations.

New Powder Coating Facility

Jaya Hind Industries will also establish a dedicated powder coating facility as part of its investment plan.

The facility is expected to further strengthen the company’s ability to provide fully integrated and value-added manufacturing solutions.

According to the company, the dedicated powder coating facility will provide high-quality surface finishing, improved corrosion resistance, superior product durability and greater process control under one roof.

The expansion of in-house processes is part of Jaya Hind Industries’ broader manufacturing capability enhancement across its Pune and Chennai operations.

The investment programme will enable Jaya Hind Industries to expand its manufacturing footprint while adding capacity for larger and more complex aluminium castings.

The company is undertaking the planned investment over FY2026–27 and FY2027–28 across its manufacturing locations.

With the combined investment of ₹600 crore, Jaya Hind Industries is set to expand its High Pressure Die Casting and Gravity Die Casting capabilities, increase precision machining capacity and strengthen in-house manufacturing processes including heat treatment, impregnation and powder coating.
