Mumbai: Nazara Technologies has announced a preferential issue of equity shares aggregating approximately ₹733.5 crore, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The proposed issue, priced at ₹306 per share, will be entirely subscribed by the founders and senior leadership team of Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems, reflecting their confidence in Nazara Technologies, its leadership, and its long-term growth strategy.
The issue price has been determined with reference to the relevant date of 31 July 2026 in accordance with the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018.
The collective investment of approximately ₹733.5 crore by the Bluetile and BestPlay leadership team represents a significant commitment to Nazara Technologies and its future growth plans.
Raymond Stauffer to Invest Approximately ₹583.5 Crore
As part of the proposed preferential issue, Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer, who is set to assume office as the Chief Executive Officer of Nazara Technologies with effect from September 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, will subscribe to equity shares worth approximately ₹583.48 crore.
With this investment, Raymond Stauffer will become a significant individual shareholder in Nazara Technologies.
Rather than receiving additional stock-based incentives in connection with his appointment as CEO, Raymond Stauffer is making a substantial personal investment in the company, directly aligning his interests with those of the shareholders of Nazara Technologies.

Capital to Strengthen Growth Strategy
According to the company, the proceeds from the preferential issue will strengthen the balance sheet of Nazara Technologies and will primarily be deployed for:
- Strategic acquisitions;
- Growth initiatives across existing gaming businesses;
- Investment in owned intellectual property;
- AI-enabled game development and operating capabilities; and
- Other opportunities aligned with Nazara’s global gaming strategy.
The company said capital deployment will remain subject to its established Investment Committee and Board oversight framework. The proceeds are intended primarily to support strategic acquisitions and accelerate growth across Nazara Technologies’ existing business verticals.
