New Delhi: India’s defence exports have reached an all-time high of ₹38,424 crore in the Financial Year (FY) 2025-26, registering a sharp increase of ₹14,802 crore (62.66%) over the previous fiscal’s ₹23,622 crore.
This milestone underscores the rapid expansion of defence exports, driven by strong contributions from both Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) and the private sector.
In this record-breaking performance for defence exports, DPSUs accounted for 54.84% while the private sector contributed 45.16%, reflecting a balanced and growing ecosystem aligned with India’s ambition to become a global defence exporter.
Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh lauded the achievement, praising the efforts of the Department of Defence Production, Indian defence exporters, and all stakeholders.
Highlighting the continued growth in defence exports, he stated that India is steadily advancing towards becoming a global manufacturing hub for defence equipment.
