Pune: Octave today announced that Attune EAM has been selected by Keolis India Pvt. Ltd. as the strategic Enterprise Asset Management platform for Pune Metro Line 3.
Formerly known as HxGN EAM, Octave Attune EAM will serve as the core digital backbone to manage metro assets and operations across the upcoming corridor.
The deployment of Octave Attune EAM marks a significant milestone for Octave, establishing a flagship metro reference in India’s rapidly expanding transportation sector.
The selection reinforces the platform’s capabilities in handling complex infrastructure and large-scale urban mobility systems.
Pune Metro Line 3, currently under construction, spans 23 kilometers with 23 stations. The corridor is being developed in a region witnessing rapid residential growth, resulting in increased traffic congestion and connectivity challenges.
Once operational, the line is expected to significantly improve daily commuting while supporting regional economic activity. The route will reduce travel time between Shivajinagar’s business district and the Hinjewadi IT hub, which employs over 150,000 professionals.
The project is being executed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, with Keolis awarded a 10-year contract to operate the line.
To ensure efficient execution of operations and maintenance, Keolis India selected Octave Attune EAM to manage the entire lifecycle of metro assets.

Octave Attune EAM: Enhancing Operational Efficiency and System Reliability
With Octave Attune EAM, Keolis will oversee critical infrastructure components, including rolling stock, civil structures, rail tracks, utilities, and the automatic fare collection system.
The platform’s comprehensive asset lifecycle management capabilities are expected to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
The selection of Octave Attune EAM followed a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process involving technical workshops and product demonstrations.
The decision reflects Octave’s strong global experience in metro infrastructure management, along with positive feedback from prior implementations within the Keolis group.
The Octave Attune EAM platform will be deployed in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and incorporates built-in Generative AI capabilities.
These features are designed to support predictive maintenance, optimize asset performance, and improve decision-making across operations.
As Pune Metro Line 3 enters its commissioning phase, Octave Attune EAM will play a critical role in establishing a comprehensive asset register from the outset.
This will ensure that every asset is accurately documented, monitored, and managed throughout its lifecycle. The implementation will also include advanced functionalities such as reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and integration with key third-party systems, including ERP, BIM, and operational technology (OT) systems.
“We are proud to contribute to a project that will improve the lives of thousands of people while supporting Pune’s economic development. Octave Attune EAM will support a broad range of operations and maintenance needs, from trains and tracks to stations and turnstiles, improving reliability, safety and lifecycle performance.
This engagement reflects our continued investment in the transportation sector and our intent to serve as a long-term digitalization partner as operators advance their operations,” said Chanpreet Sahni, Vice President, India at Octave.
