Ephicacy Appoints Jamie Powers as SVP of Biometrics, Names Tyagi Swaminathan Head of India Operations

ISELIN, N.J.: Ephicacy has announced key leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its biometrics expertise and global delivery capabilities, reinforcing its strategic growth trajectory in clinical development services.

In a significant move, Ephicacy has appointed Jamie Powers, DrPH, as Senior Vice President of Biometrics. In this role, Powers will lead the company’s Project-Based Services (PBS) unit, which includes Data Management, Biostatistics, and Statistical Programming.

He will report directly to CEO Tara Gladwell. The appointment underscores Ephicacy’s continued focus on enhancing its biometrics and analytics offerings to meet evolving industry demands.

Simultaneously, Ephicacy has named Tyagrajan “Tyagi” Swaminathan as Head of India Operations and Vice President of Statistical Programming.

This dual role strengthens leadership within one of Ephicacy’s key global delivery hubs and highlights the company’s commitment to scaling its operations in India.

Bringing over 23 years of experience, Jamie Powers joins Ephicacy with an extensive background spanning biostatistics, clinical analytics, artificial intelligence, and real-world evidence.

He has previously held leadership roles at IQVIA, SAS Institute, ConcertAI, and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company.

His professional experience blends classical biostatistics and biometrics delivery with applied work in AI, real-world evidence, and operational analytics.
