Infosys Anthropic Collaboration Integrates Claude Models with Infosys Topaz for Industry AI Solutions

Infosys Anthropic Collaboration

Bengaluru: The Infosys Anthropic Collaboration was officially announced in Bengaluru as Infosys (NSE: INFY) (BSE: INFY) (NYSE: INFY), a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, entered into a strategic partnership with Anthropic, an AI safety and research company, to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and software development.

The Infosys Anthropic Collaboration will begin in telecommunications with a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence to build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific operations.

The initiative is expected to expand into financial services, manufacturing, and software development as the partnership scales.

At its core, the Infosys Anthropic Collaboration integrates Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, with Infosys Topaz AI offerings to help enterprises automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery, and adopt AI with the governance and transparency required in regulated industries.

The Infosys Anthropic Collaboration reflects a shared commitment to ensuring AI drives transformational value beyond efficiency gains.

Infosys and Anthropic aim to help clients reimagine enterprise operating models by combining deep industry expertise, frontier AI capabilities, and engineering scale into a unified approach.

Infosys Anthropic Collaboration: Focus on Agentic AI and Enterprise Modernization

A core pillar of the Infosys Anthropic Collaboration is agentic AI – systems designed to independently manage multi-step tasks such as claims processing, generating and testing code, and managing compliance reviews.

Using tools like the Claude Agent SDK, the Infosys Anthropic Collaboration will support clients in building AI agents capable of working persistently across long and complex processes instead of single, one-time interactions.

The partnership will also help organizations modernize legacy systems by combining Infosys Topaz and Claude models to accelerate migration and reduce the cost of updating aging infrastructure.

Industry-Specific AI Applications

Under the Infosys Anthropic Collaboration, customized AI agents will be developed for specific industries and business functions:

  • Telecommunications: AI agents will help carriers modernize network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery. This brings intelligent automation to one of the most operationally complex and heavily regulated industries globally.
  • Financial Services: AI agents will assist firms in detecting and assessing risk faster, automating compliance reporting, and delivering more personalized customer interactions, including tailoring financial advice based on a client’s full account history and prevailing market conditions.
  • Manufacturing and Engineering: Claude will support faster product design and simulation, reducing R&D timelines and enabling engineers to test more iterations before production.
  • Software Development: Teams will leverage Claude Code to write, test, and debug code, helping developers accelerate the journey from design to production. Infosys is already deploying Claude Code within its Exponential Engineering organization to build internal expertise and best practices that will directly inform client engagements under the Infosys Anthropic Collaboration.

Dario Amodei, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Anthropic, said, “There’s a big gap between an AI model that works in a demo and one that works in a regulated industry – and if you want to close that gap, you need domain expertise. Infosys has exactly that kind of expertise across important industries: telecom, financial services, and manufacturing. Their developers are already using Claude Code to accelerate their work and to create AI agents for industries that demand precision, compliance, and deep domain knowledge.”

Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer, Infosys, said, “AI is not just transforming business – it is redefining the way industries operate and innovate. Our collaboration with Anthropic marks a strategic leap toward advancing enterprise AI, enabling organizations to unlock value and become more intelligent, resilient, and responsible. From modernizing financial services with intelligent risk management and compliance, to enabling engineering businesses to lead with AI-driven design and manufacturing, the goal is to leverage the joint expertise of Infosys and Anthropic to accelerate AI value realization for global enterprises.”
