Nagpur Joins Air India Express Network; Delhi and Pune Get New Abu Dhabi Connections

Nagpur: Air India Express Nagpur Expansion marks another milestone in the airline’s network growth, as the Tata-owned value carrier adds Nagpur to its fast-expanding domestic and international operations.

Starting December 1, 2025, the airline will operate twice-daily flights between Nagpur and Bengaluru, further enhancing connectivity across Maharashtra and South India.

Air India Express: New International Connectivity to Abu Dhabi

In addition to the Air India Express Nagpur Expansion, the airline is strengthening its Gulf operations by launching new flights to Abu Dhabi from Delhi and Pune.

Starting December 2, 2025, the airline will operate four weekly flights between Delhi and Abu Dhabi and three weekly flights between Pune and Abu Dhabi, reinforcing its presence in the UAE sector.

Bookings for these new routes are now open on airindiaexpress.com, the mobile app, and other major booking platforms.

Strengthening Presence in Maharashtra

With Nagpur joining the network, Air India Express consolidates its operations in Maharashtra, where it already operates over 130 weekly flights from Mumbai and more than 90 weekly flights from Pune.

The airline will also begin operations from Navi Mumbai with 35 weekly flights connecting Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Bengaluru as a Strategic Hub

The Air India Express Nagpur Expansion complements new and existing routes from Bengaluru, including flights to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jodhpur, and Udaipur.

The airline currently operates over 530 weekly flights from Bengaluru, recently adding international routes to Bangkok, Jeddah, Kuwait, and Riyadh.

Upgraded Fleet and Brand Experience

Air India Express has unveiled its latest brand campaign, ‘Xplore More, Xpress More’, aimed at encouraging travellers to explore cultural and regional experiences. The airline’s upgraded Boeing 737-8 aircraft now feature premium interiors, improved legroom, USB charging ports, and Boeing Sky Interior lighting.

The carrier’s ‘Tales of India’ initiative showcases over 50 indigenous art forms across 25 states on aircraft tails, including Maharashtra’s Warli art and Paithani weaves, reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage.
