MTech in Cybersecurity and Incident Management

Bengaluru: Sri Sri University (SSU) has announced the launch of India’s first industry-integrated MTech in Cybersecurity and Incident Management, developed in collaboration with cybersecurity consulting firm SecurEyes.

The program is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and offers a unique combination of academic knowledge, practical training, and live industry exposure.

Addressing India’s Growing Cybersecurity Demand

With India projected to require over 1 million cybersecurity professionals by 2030 (NASSCOM), the newly launched MTech in Cybersecurity and Incident Management is designed to bridge the skills gap.

The program ensures graduates are equipped to handle real-world cyber threats, lead incident response teams, and secure digital ecosystems.

Speaking on the launch, Uma Pendyala, Head – Business Operations, SecurEyes, said: “Cybersecurity education must extend beyond theory. This program emphasizes hands-on experience, enabling students to become industry-ready from the outset.”

Key Features of the MTech in Cybersecurity and Incident Management
  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university
  • Duration: 2 Years Full-Time (4 Semesters) – beginning October 2025
  • Exit Option: PG Diploma after 1 year or MTech after 2 years (aligned with NEP 2020)
  • Mode: Hybrid learning with online classes and campus immersion at Sri Sri University, Bhubaneswar, once per semester
  • Application Deadline: October 15, 2025
