The administration has set October 20 as the target date to complete the survey work, which includes valuation of fruit-bearing trees, farm wells, and pipelines on agricultural lands.

Once the survey process is completed, compensation rates will be finalized, and proposals for farmer rehabilitation will be submitted to the government for approval. Thereafter, the direct land acquisition process will begin.

Additional Teams Deployed for Purandar Airport Land Acquisition

To ensure faster progress, the administration has increased the number of survey teams from five to six. These teams include officials from the Revenue, Forest, Public Works, Agriculture, Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, and Purandar Lift Irrigation Scheme departments.

The survey is being conducted in a peaceful manner across the identified locations.
