Suzlon Secures 838 MW Order from Tata Power Renewable Energy, Its Largest in FY26

Pune: Suzlon Group announced that it has won its largest order of FY26, securing 838 MW from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL).

This order, part of TPREL’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project, also represents the company’s second-largest contract to date, following the 1,544 MW order from NTPC Green Energy.

The company’s advanced technology and TPREL’s renewable vision align to accelerate India’s clean energy transition, highlighting the impact of “Made in India” innovation.

Project Details Across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu

The 838 MW project will feature 266 units of S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.

These will be strategically located across three states: Karnataka (302 MW), Maharashtra (271 MW), and Tamil Nadu (265 MW). The project forms part of the FDRE bids awarded to SJVN and NTPC.
