Bengaluru: UST, a global leader in digital transformation solutions, has officially launched the UST D3CODE 2025 Hackathon, the 5th edition of its flagship innovation challenge.
The event will be held across India, the US, the UK, Mexico, and Malaysia, bringing together students to design impactful solutions that address pressing global challenges.
The UST D3CODE 2025 Hackathon is themed “Shaping New Frontiers – Data, Intelligence and Quantum”, encouraging participants to innovate using AI, Quantum Computing, and Intelligent Data Ecosystems.
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, the hackathon will follow a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process based on originality, scalability, potential, and user experience. Registrations are now open and will close on September 10, 2025.

UST D3CODE 2025 Hackathon: Cash Prizes, Mentorship, and Career Opportunities
The global winner of the UST D3CODE 2025 Hackathon will receive a USD 10,000 cash prize, in addition to mentorship support from UST experts to refine and scale their solution.
Regional winners will also receive prize money, recognition, and potential career opportunities with UST. The top projects will be showcased at the prestigious D3 Conference in Thiruvananthapuram, India.
Since its inception in 2019, D3CODE has grown into UST’s flagship global hackathon, attracting students from leading institutions such as IIT Roorkee, Florida National University, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Participation has expanded from 840 entries in its first year to more than 12,000 applications in recent editions. The hackathon has consistently produced impactful solutions spanning accessibility, environmental sustainability, and emerging technologies.

Competition Timeline and Global Finale
The UST D3CODE 2025 Hackathon will unfold in four stages across each region, beginning with ideation rounds and progressing to hackathon phases.
Regional winners will advance to the Global Finale, scheduled virtually between September 25–30, 2025. The winning team will not only secure the cash prize but also gain exposure to a global community of innovators and industry leaders.
