HappyRobot founders Pablo Palafox, Luis Paarup, and Javier Palafox

San Francisco: HappyRobot has raised $44 million in Series B funding to accelerate the development of its AI-powered digital workforce, marking a major step in redefining enterprise operations.

With more than 70 enterprise customers already in production, HappyRobot is positioning itself as a transformative force in the supply chain and logistics sector.

The $44 million Series B round was led by Base10 Partners, with participation from existing investors a16z, Array Ventures, and YC, alongside new backers including Samsara Ventures, Tokio Marine, WaVe-X, World Innovation Lab (WiL), and other global logistics funds.

This follows HappyRobot’s $15.6 million Series A in late 2024. The new capital will be used to expand product engineering, forward-deployed engineering, go-to-market teams, and enhance the company’s AI workforce platform.

HappyRobot’s AI Workers Drive Enterprise Transformation

HappyRobot provides enterprises with AI workers capable of managing end-to-end workflows such as scheduling, collections, sales, and communication.

These AI workers interact seamlessly across phone, email, and chat while parsing documents, browsing websites, and logging critical data. Unlike traditional automation tools, HappyRobot’s AI adapts to dynamic, real-world workflows without brittle scripts.

CEO and co-founder Pablo Palafox explained, “Our goal is for an AI workforce to handle all the manual coordination and execution so people can focus on strategic work, relationships, and exceptions that really drive value.”

Enterprise Impact and ROI

The platform is already deployed across supply chain leaders such as DHL, Ryder, and Werner, delivering measurable impact:

  • Scheduling: reduced resolution times from one week to under 30 minutes
  • Collections: returns exceeding 119x initial investment
  • Outbound sales: ROI of more than 19x
  • Carrier sales operations: over 5x ROI

By freeing up human teams, HappyRobot enables enterprises to increase revenue-generating activities while reducing inefficiencies.

HappyRobot’s Next-Gen AI Platform

HappyRobot continues to expand its platform with advanced features including:

  • AI Auditor – ensures compliance by reviewing AI worker activity and flagging exceptions
  • AI Builder – enables teams to deploy new AI workers with simple prompts
  • HappyRobot OS – a centralized interface to manage AI-driven operations

The platform integrates multiple AI models—LLMs, transcription, OCR, voice generation, AI browsing—along with ERP, CRM, TMS, and API integrations. Each deployment is supported by a dedicated forward-deployed engineer to ensure reliability and operational readiness.

Adeyemi Ajao, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Base10 Partners, said, “HappyRobot is one of the hardest-working and technically brilliant teams I’ve seen in 20 years. Their vision to deploy an AI workforce across supply chains and beyond is the future of the logistics industry.”

The Origin and Vision of HappyRobot

Founded in 2023 by Pablo Palafox, Luis Paarup, and Javier Palafox, HappyRobot began as a project to build conversational voice AI and found its first commercial use case in freight communication.

Today, the company’s mission is to create the digital workforce that powers global operations, addressing challenges such as call center burnout, labor shortages, and rising operational costs.

With this new funding, the company plans to expand hiring across engineering, product, and deployments while strengthening the capabilities of its AI workers to meet the growing demands of global enterprises.
