Mumbai: Electricals brand Polycab has reinforced its commitment to community engagement this Ganesh Chaturthi with a series of people-first installations at two of Mumbai’s most iconic festive locations – Lalbaugcha Raja and Juhu Beach.
These initiatives reflect the company’s belief in building meaningful connections that go beyond products and into the heart of community celebrations.
Polycab Creates People-First Experiences at Lalbaugcha Raja
At Lalbaugcha Raja, Polycab introduced a unique ‘Comfort Zone’, transforming a bus stop along the darshan route into a sheltered rest space. The zone provides devotees relief from heat and rain while offering mobile charging facilities to help them stay connected.

Additionally, Polycab set up:
- Mobile Charging Stations for devotees and volunteers at the pandal.
- A Comfort Zone for Police Personnel, recognizing the tireless work of law enforcement.
- An Experiential Walkway Zone, equipped with Polycab fans to ensure a refreshing darshan journey.
These initiatives highlight the company’s focus on ensuring safety, comfort, and accessibility for thousands of devotees visiting the iconic pandal.
Polycab Enhances Safety at Juhu Beach Immersions
At Juhu Beach, one of Mumbai’s key immersion sites, the company installed branded Safety Watch Towers to aid authorities in crowd surveillance during visarjan. These installations help enhance safety for lakhs of devotees participating in the immersion ceremonies.

Expanding Festive Engagement Beyond Mumbai
The brand’s festive outreach extends to other cities as well. In Pune, the brand has created a high-visibility presence through a branded gate installation and banners at major pandals. In Hyderabad, at the iconic Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal, Polycab has set up a digital LED arch and a branded police booth with water and mobile charging facilities for devotees and frontline workers.
