San Francisco: SuperDial, a rapidly growing voice AI platform dedicated to automating healthcare’s administrative phone calls, has raised $15 million in Series A funding to expand its innovative services.
The round was led by SignalFire, with participation from Slow Ventures, BoxGroup, Scrub Capital, and includes $3 million in venture debt for R&D and go-to-market initiatives. This brings SuperDial’s total funding to over $20 million.

Founded by Stanford alumni Sam Schwager and Harrison Caruthers, SuperDial tackles one of the healthcare industry’s most persistent bottlenecks – manual phone calls to insurance companies for tasks like claims follow-ups, benefits verification, and credentialing.
These calls, often taking hours of staff time, contribute to operational inefficiencies and soaring administrative costs in the $150 billion U.S. revenue cycle management (RCM) market.
“The healthcare sector is desperate for solutions that reduce admin overhead without adding headcount,” said Sam Schwager, CEO of SuperDial. “We’re bringing AI to a part of the system that’s long been ignored and delivering tangible results.”

AI Agents Replacing Repetitive Admin Work
SuperDial’s AI-powered voice agents automate outbound calls, navigate complex phone trees, wait on hold, and interact directly with payer representatives. When needed, a human call center team steps in to ensure task completion.
The platform integrates with EHR systems, automatically documenting updates such as claims status and authorization details.
Key metrics from clients include:
- Up to 3x cost savings per call
- 4x productivity gains for billing teams
- Reduction in A/R days and hiring needs
For example, West Coast Dental reported that SuperDial now manages over 10,000 calls per month, significantly reducing a backlog of 70,000 claims without the need to hire additional staff.
Fueling Growth and AI-Driven Innovation
This funding follows SuperDial’s acquisition of voice AI firm MajorBoost, which strengthened its capabilities in navigating insurer workflows and accelerated its expansion across provider and billing networks.
“SuperDial is laying the foundation for AI-powered communication in healthcare,” said Yuanling Yuan, Partner at SignalFire. “They’re not just automating – they’re building the connective tissue of future healthcare ecosystems.”
Looking ahead, SuperDial plans to:
- Deepen integrations with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Expand into new administrative workflows
- Continue training AI agents with real-world data
The company envisions a future where agent-powered communication allows seamless coordination between payers, providers, labs, and pharmacies – AI to AI, across fragmented healthcare infrastructure.
