Pune: Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s (PVG) College of Engineering, Technology & Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Progression School to establish an Agentic AI Centre of Excellence on campus.
This landmark initiative of Agentic AI Centre of Excellence aims to boost innovation, research, and student preparedness in the evolving domain of Artificial Intelligence.
The collaboration was announced during a four-day workshop titled ‘Future Applications of AI’, organized by PVG to commemorate World AI Day.

The workshop saw participation from over 1,000 students and professionals, featuring hands-on coding sessions, AI simulations, and expert-led modules designed to build foundational and advanced skills in AI.
In a significant infrastructure move, PVG College revamped its 500-seat seminar hall into a state-of-the-art Dynamic Learning Hub with high-speed Wi-Fi, enabling seamless AI coding tracks for 300–400 participants per session.
Key industry experts enriched the learning experience:
- Vivek Agrawal, Director of Learning & Development, Excellerant Technologies and Progression School, led the core sessions.
- Rohit Ghosh, entrepreneur and AI evangelist, delivered a keynote on AI’s business impact.
- Mridula Ujwal, renowned mind coach, conducted sessions on stress and productivity management for participants.
The event also fostered deeper industry-academic collaboration, with PVG leadership – including Director Sunil Redekar, Professor Rajendra Kaduskar, Principal Dr Manoj Tarambale, and Dr Sunil Gaikwad – holding strategic discussions with industry stakeholders.
