Mumbai: Nazara Technologies Limited (BSE: 543280 | NSE: NAZARA), India’s only publicly listed gaming company, has announced the acquisition of Curve Digital Entertainment Ltd (Curve Games), a leading UK-based publisher of PC and console video games, in an all-cash deal valued at ₹247 crore (GBP 21.7 million).
This acquisition marks a pivotal step in Nazara’s global expansion strategy, providing access to the US$100+ billion global PC and console gaming market.
With this deal, Nazara reinforces its commitment to building a diversified gaming portfolio across platforms and geographies, particularly strengthening its presence in key markets such as North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific.
Founded in the UK, Curve Games has built a reputation for publishing high-quality indie titles, boasting a library of games that have amassed over 100 million downloads globally.
In the calendar year 2024, the company reported ₹263.5 crore in revenue (~GBP 24.4 million), ₹114.4 crore EBITDA (~GBP 10.6 million), and ₹49.6 crore profit before tax (~GBP 4.6 million).
