Kinetic Technologies Secures $85 Million Deal as Cyient Semiconductors Acquires Majority Stake

Hyderabad: Kinetic Technologies announced the successful completion of an agreement under which Cyient Semiconductors has secured a majority stake in Kinetic Technologies for a total consideration of $85 million USD.

The development marks a significant milestone for Kinetic Technologies, aimed at accelerating research and product development while strengthening its global footprint in the power management and protection markets.

With this strategic investment, Kinetic Technologies is set to expand its capabilities in next-generation power management, high-performance analog, and mixed-signal technologies.

The collaboration with Cyient Semiconductors will enable the company to scale engineering resources, broaden its patent portfolio, and accelerate the development of differentiated and high-performance application-specific standard product (ASSP) power solutions.

Further strengthening its strategic roadmap, Kinetic will continue to operate with its existing leadership team and engineering structure. This ensures continuity for customers and partners while enabling the company to benefit from Cyient Semiconductors’ global semiconductor platform and long-term strategic vision.
