Pune: Tata Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital services, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch the 3rd edition of the InnoVent Hackathon, aimed at inspiring engineering students across India to develop next-generation solutions for the smart mobility ecosystem.
Building on the success of previous editions, InnoVent Hackathon 2026 will empower students to create innovative projects using cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, IoT, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, Digital Twins, and Augmented & Virtual Reality (AR/VR). The theme for this year is: “Innovating the Future of Smart Mobility.”

Participants will be challenged to conceptualize and develop transformative solutions in areas like:
- AI-powered embedded intelligence
- Agentic AI decision-making frameworks
- Software-defined vehicles
- Sustainable and connected mobility systems
- Intelligent manufacturing
- Immersive and secure in-vehicle experiences
InnoVent Hackathon: A Platform for Inclusive Innovation and Skill Development
The InnoVent Hackathon is open to 3rd and 4th year engineering students across India and encourages inclusive participation from women engineers and differently abled students.
The event will follow a three-phase evaluation process: initial screening, virtual Proof of Concept (PoC) submissions, and final live demonstrations.
Top projects will be mentored by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Tata Technologies, and AWS will offer exclusive access to cloud tools and hands-on training sessions to help students build scalable, real-world applications.
Projects will be judged based on their feasibility, novelty, diversity, and impact, with special awards for the most creative project and the most innovative physical prototype.

Winning teams will receive:
- Cash prizes worth ₹4.5 lakhs
