IIT Bombay Project Titanium Seeks Co-Founders to Scale Deep-Tech Startups

Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has unveiled the IIT Bombay Project Titanium, an ambitious initiative in partnership with the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) to transform cutting-edge research into scalable deep-tech startups.

Focused on high-impact sectors such as robotics, medtech, AI, semiconductors, and climate-tech, IIT Bombay Project Titanium is now inviting applications from industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts to join as co-founders and mentors.

Launched in 2024 through a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with esteemed IIT Bombay alumni – Ramesh Mangaleswaran, Senior Partner Emeritus at McKinsey & Company, and Rajesh Jain, Founder and MD of Netcore – the initiative aims to nurture innovation-led ventures from India’s premier academic ecosystem.

“If you are an intrapreneur, seasoned industry leader, domain expert, visionary entrepreneur, former entrepreneur, or aspiring entrepreneur ready to create a legacy of innovation, Project Titanium is looking for you,” stated Jayshree Nayak, Program Director, Project Titanium in their expression of interest in Project Titanium.
