Bengaluru: Arrcus, the hyperscale networking software company and leader in open, disaggregated network infrastructure, has announced a major expansion of its India operations to accelerate innovation across AI, datacenter, and mobile network ecosystems.
At the center of the company’ strategy is its Arrcus Connected Edge-AI (ACE-AI) Networking Fabric, designed to seamlessly connect GPUs, DPUs, and CPUs for AI workloads across datacenters, cloud, and mobile environments.

This architecture enables organizations to scale AI training and inferencing efficiently while minimizing latency, cost, and power consumption – capabilities that are vital for India’s fast-growing digital economy.
“India is a driving force in the global AI revolution, both as an innovation hub and as a major consumer of AI,” said Shekar Ayyar, CEO of Arrcus.
“Our growing local leadership and partnerships position Arrcus as a strong alternative to traditional networking providers such as Cisco, Arista, and HPE-Juniper. We are excited to showcase our technology at GFF and IMC in India this week.”
To drive its growth strategy, Arrcus has appointed Vikram Anand as Managing Director for India Sales and Business Development. Anand brings extensive experience from Dell, VMware, and Persistent Systems. He will lead go-to-market initiatives across India, focusing on customer engagement and ecosystem development.
The engineering division in India is led by Ashutosh Sharma, an accomplished networking executive with over 25 years of experience at Cisco, Citrix, and Motorola. Together, they will accelerate the company’s efforts to build AI-ready, disaggregated network infrastructure from India.
