Bengaluru: Simplilearn, a global digital upskilling platform and a Blackstone portfolio company, has announced three senior leadership appointments to support its ongoing global expansion.
Simplilearn has onboarded Harish Rawat as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Nikhil Sinha as Vice President – Business, and Saurabh Jain as Finance Controller.
These strategic hires come as Simplilearn continues to witness rising demand for digital and AI-driven skills across industries. With increasing digitisation, Simplilearn has expanded its global footprint, serving over 8 million learners across more than 150 countries and delivering upwards of 1,500 live online classes every month.
As the company scales further, the company is strengthening leadership across marketing, commercial growth, and financial management functions to drive its next phase of growth.

Harish Rawat to Lead Global Marketing at Simplilearn
Harish Rawat joins as Senior Vice President of Marketing, bringing over 18 years of experience in building high-growth consumer brands and scaling digital businesses.
Most recently, he served as SVP, Marketing at Gameskraft, where he played a key role in driving growth for the company’s multi-gaming business by expanding its paying user base and revenue.
Prior to that, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Zoomcar, where he helped grow the self-drive car rental category across multiple cities in India. Over his career, he has also held leadership roles at Lenskart, Jabong, and Nokia India.
He will lead global marketing initiatives focused on strengthening brand visibility, scaling performance marketing, and deepening engagement with learners worldwide.

Nikhil Sinha to Drive Business Growth at Simplilearn
Nikhil Sinha joins as Vice President – Business, bringing over a decade of experience across high-growth startups, including leadership roles at NoBroker and Toppr.
His experience includes building high-velocity sales engines and re-architecting acquisition funnels to drive sustainable revenue growth. Earlier in his career, he founded Whomely, a corporate meal delivery venture.
He will focus on strengthening commercial operations across markets, expanding enterprise partnerships, and enhancing learner engagement.

Saurabh Jain to Strengthen Financial Governance at Simplilearn
Saurabh Jain joins as Finance Controller, bringing nearly two decades of experience in finance and operations across India’s technology ecosystem. Most recently, he served as Finance Controller at Kinara Capital.
He brings extensive expertise in financial planning, compliance, risk management, and investor reporting. Earlier in his career, he held finance leadership roles at Udaan, Flipkart, Paytm, and Gadgets360, working closely with fast-growing digital businesses.
He will oversee financial planning and governance, building systems to support sustainable growth as the company continues to expand globally.
