Bengaluru: Simplilearn, a global digital upskilling provider, has appointed Sudipto Mitra as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for its commercial business, marking a strategic move to accelerate global revenue growth.

Sudipto Mitra brings over 20 years of leadership experience in digital transformation, business development, and management consulting, with a strong track record of scaling high-performing teams across major enterprises and fast-growing SaaS companies.

Sudipto Mitra to Drive Global Revenue Strategy and Market Expansion

In his new role, Sudipto Mitra will lead Simplilearn’s global revenue strategy, strengthen key partnerships, and support the company’s expansion across priority markets.

His extensive experience includes senior sales and go-to-market leadership roles at Accenture, WNS, and EDS in the United States, where he managed large global teams focused on IT outsourcing and business process transformation.

Mitra also previously served as Partner and Industry Leader at IBM Consulting, heading a global team of more than 9,000 professionals and overseeing major digital transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 enterprises.

In 2017, he took on the role of Chief Revenue Officer at WorkFusion, an enterprise AI automation platform, where he played a key role in scaling the company and enabling its successful investor acquisition in 2021.
