Pune: In a move aimed at strengthening its leadership team, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd., one of India’s premier electric vehicle manufacturers, has appointed Jayapradeep Vasudevan as President – Two-Wheeler Business.
With over 25 years of experience in the automotive sector, Vasudevan joins the company at a crucial phase of its expansion in the electric mobility space.
Widely known as “JP” in the industry, Jayapradeep Vasudevan will lead the company’s strategic initiatives for its electric two-wheeler segment, including the much-anticipated launch of a high-performance, technology-enabled electric scooter later this year.
He will also drive growth for existing products such as the E-Luna and strengthen the nationwide dealer network to enhance customer reach and brand equity.
Jayapradeep Vasudevan: Transformative Leadership Backed by Rich Industry Experience
Prior to joining Kinetic Green, Vasudevan served as Chief Business Officer at Raptee, an electric motorcycle startup, where he was instrumental in positioning the brand in the premium EV segment.
He also had an illustrious 15-year career at Royal Enfield, where he played a key role as India Business Head, driving national sales growth, expanding the retail footprint, and pioneering new customer engagement formats. His early stints include leadership roles at Hindustan Motors and TAFE, giving him a solid foundation in automotive operations.
At Kinetic Green, he will collaborate closely with Ritesh Mantri, Co-Founder and Executive Director, to scale the company’s electric two-wheeler vertical, strengthen its go-to-market strategy, and align the organization’s trajectory with India’s transition to net-zero mobility.
