IAN Group Appoints Chintan Thakkar as Group CEO

New Delhi: Early-stage investment platform IAN Group has announced the appointment of Chintan Thakkar as Group CEO. In addition, Thakkar will take on the role of Senior Managing Partner of the IAN Alpha Fund, providing strategic guidance to strengthen the Group’s next phase of growth.

Chintan Thakkar Joins IAN Group Leadership

With over three decades of expertise in finance, governance, and strategic growth, Chintan Thakkar is widely recognized as a leader in India’s corporate and investment ecosystem.

He previously served as Group CFO and Whole-time Director at Info Edge India Ltd., where he played a critical role in transforming the company from a small-cap to a large-cap entity, overseeing an 18x market capitalization growth. His tenure included driving major capital market initiatives, M&A deals, early-stage startup investments, and launching AIFs for startup funding.

Strengthening IAN Group’s Vision

Over the last 19 years, IAN has pioneered angel investing in India, enabling entrepreneurs to raise anywhere between ₹50 lakhs to ₹50 crore on a single platform. The Group has expanded to launch multiple venture capital funds, offering startups not just capital but also mentoring and global market access.
