Pune: Loop, the healthtech and insurance platform focused on extending the lifespan and well-being of working Indians, has appointed Harpreet Singh Rai, former CEO of Oura, as its President, Healthcare.

Harpreet Singh Rai, a pioneer in consumer health technology, led Oura from 2018 to 2021, during which the brand launched its 2nd and 3rd generation smart rings and sold over 1 million units globally.

His leadership helped transform Oura into a globally recognized name in health tracking, particularly during the pandemic when wearables became key tools in early illness detection.

He will lead Loop’s efforts to create engaging and scalable health experiences, working alongside its medical, product, and engineering teams to build systems that drive proactive care rather than reactive treatment.

“India’s workforce loses 20 years of health compared to global averages – not because of fate, but because the system profits from sickness,” said Mayank Kale, Co-founder and CEO of Loop.
