In her new role, Shamita Mukherjee will lead the company’s people strategy during a transformative phase, overseeing key initiatives to drive workforce agility, future-focused skill development, and employee-centric innovation aligned with Firstsource’s UnBPOTM strategy for the future of work.

Shamita Mukherjee’s Experience
Shamita Mukherjee previously served as Global CHRO for the BPM division of Infosys. With over 30 years of experience in human resources, consulting, and entrepreneurship, including two decades in leadership roles at Infosys, she has a proven track record of driving strategic HR initiatives at scale.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
