Pune: Critical Start, a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider, has announced the appointment of Yogesh Patil as Vice President of Engineering and India Site Leader.
In his new role, Patil will oversee engineering operations in Pune, drive organizational growth, and scale the company’s next-generation MDR Security Operations platform.

As India Site Leader, Yogesh Patil will manage Pune Engineering and Security Engineering functions while also leading cross-functional teams in Customer Success, Customer Support, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, HR, and IT. His mandate includes enhancing operational excellence, integrating with global teams, and ensuring customer value through innovation.

Yogesh Patil’s Cybersecurity and Engineering Leadership Journey
Before joining Critical Start, Yogesh Patil served as Senior Director of Engineering at CrowdStrike and held leadership roles at Broadcom, Symantec, BindView, and Tata Elxsi. With more than 20 years of experience in software and cybersecurity, he has built and led distributed global teams focused on developing secure, scalable, and reliable platforms.
