East Brunswick, N.J. | Bengaluru: Databricks and Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) have expanded their long-standing partnership to help enterprises modernize data foundations, accelerate AI adoption, and deploy enterprise-scale artificial intelligence solutions across industries.
As part of the enhanced collaboration, Databricks and Wipro have established a self-contained Databricks business practice focused on developing industry-specific AI-led solutions and accelerators.
The initiative is designed to help enterprises transition from fragmented data environments and isolated AI pilots to governed, enterprise-scale AI implementations.
The dedicated business practice will enable Wipro and Databricks to optimize existing data investments for joint clients while developing new AI-powered solutions tailored to specific industry requirements.
The collaboration combines Databricks’ capabilities in agentic AI, data modernization, analytics, and application development with Wipro Intelligence, the company’s suite of AI-powered platforms, solutions, and transformation offerings.
The practice will also help business users realize value faster by utilizing Databricks Genie, Databricks’ AI coworker that enables both business and technical users to explore and interact with enterprise data using natural language.
Leveraging Wipro’s agent-native delivery platform WEGA, the practice will support enterprises in transitioning from legacy systems to scalable, AI-ready data architectures.

In the banking and financial services sector, the collaboration will support end-to-end wealth management, portfolio performance optimization, and improved client experiences.
For manufacturing and consumer goods companies, the practice will focus on planning resiliency to help organizations overcome volatility in the global macro-economic environment.
Within the telecommunications sector, Databricks and Wipro will develop agentic AI-led sales and marketing transformation solutions aimed at driving business growth.
The partnership will also support energy and large-asset industries through solutions focused on asset visibility and performance improvement.
Additionally, the business practice will introduce an agentic AI-led Chief Financial Officer Transformation approach by reimagining Financial Planning & Analysis processes to improve efficiency and optimize costs.
