Mumbai: The National Film Development Corporation’s (NFDC) Waves Film Bazaar 2025 has entered into a strategic partnership with Storiculture’s flagship program ProducerLAND to host a high-impact Producers’ Lab at its 19th edition in Panjim, Goa, from 20–24 November 2025.

The Producers’ Lab at Waves Film Bazaar 2025 will be held from 21–24 November, offering South Asian producers two distinct pathways.
The Career Track will provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities for producers without an active project, while the Project Track will focus on those developing a project, offering feedback, guidance, and showcase opportunities.

Applications for the Producers’ Lab will open on 4 October 2025 and close on 24 October 2025.
Learning, Mentorship, and Networking Opportunities
The four-day program will feature masterclasses, project-focused groups, mentoring sessions, and evening networking events.
Participants will gain insights into global markets, financing strategies, and co-production opportunities, while also benefiting from experiential learning in a collaborative environment.
Extended Mentorship Through ProducerLAND
Selected fellows will also join ProducerLAND’s year-round community, giving them continued access to mentorship, peer networks, and collaborative opportunities beyond Waves Film Bazaar 2025.

Legacy of Waves Film Bazaar
Since its inception by NFDC in 2007, Waves Film Bazaar has grown into South Asia’s largest film market and a global hub for collaboration between South Asian creators and the international film industry.
Past editions have featured distinguished leaders including Academy Award-winning producer Guneet Monga and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Richie Mehta.
ProducerLAND, established in 2021, has built a strong track record by connecting over 80 producers across eight cohorts, providing mentorship, peer engagement, and strategic industry guidance.
This collaboration aims to empower South Asian producers, fostering world-class learning, networking, and co-production opportunities that bridge regional talent with international markets.
