New Delhi: In a significant step toward inclusive education, PNB Housing Finance, under its CSR arm Pehel Foundation, has awarded Pehel Foundation Scholarships to 186 meritorious students from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
These scholarships are specifically aimed at supporting academically talented young women from economically weaker sections, enabling them to pursue undergraduate studies in disciplines such as science and humanities without financial constraints.
Pehel Foundation Scholarships Designed to Promote Educational Equity
The Pehel Foundation Scholarships are designed to promote educational equity by covering the students’ annual tuition fees for up to three years.
Selected through a rigorous assessment of academic performance and socioeconomic background, the recipients will benefit from financial support that allows them to focus solely on their academic and personal growth.
The scholarship orientation program, held at Miranda House, provided insights into the structure and long-term impact of the initiative. The event was attended by PNB Housing Finance executives, Miranda House faculty, and representatives from Respect India, the program’s implementing partner.
