Pune: Navonmesh 2025, a two-day regional conference organized by the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad branches of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) under the Western India Regional Council (WIRC), was inaugurated by Hanmantrao Gaikwad, Founder and MD of Bharat Vikas Group (BVG).
The event celebrated the evolving and critical role of Chartered Accountants (CAs) in India’s financial ecosystem.
Held at Siddhi Banquet Hall in Pune, Navonmesh 2025 brought together leading financial professionals, government officials, and members of ICAI to explore the growing importance of strategic financial advisory, tax reform, and AI-led digital transformation in the accounting profession.

Speaking at the inauguration, Gaikwad called CAs the true architects of India’s economy. “From promoting transparency to enabling strategic cost-efficiency and business growth, CAs are central to the country’s development. In the age of AI, they must evolve as technology-savvy professionals who guide businesses through economic complexities,” he said.
Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule addressed the audience via video message, emphasizing the government’s support for the CA community’s role in financial policymaking.
