Last Chance to Submit for Kalaasetu Challenge and Bhashasetu Challenge by WaveX

Kalaasetu Challenge

New Delhi: The Startup Accelerator Platform WaveX, operating under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has issued a final reminder to all registered startups participating in the Kalaasetu Challenge and Bhashasetu Challenge to complete their profile updates and upload pending documents by today, 9th August 2025.

To enhance the evaluation process, WaveX has introduced new fields in the participant profile section of its online portal.

Startups are required to update these details and submit their Minimum Viable Concept (MVC) along with other mandatory documents in the prescribed format through the official platform: https://wavex.wavesbazaar.com/.

Evaluation begins on 10th August 2025, and any submissions after the deadline will not be accepted. Participants are advised to finalize their updates well before the cutoff date to avoid last-minute technical challenges.

About the Kalaasetu Challenge

The Kalaasetu Challenge is designed to bridge India’s digital language divide by equipping public communication bodies with innovative tools to dynamically convert official information into regionally resonant formats – including infographics, localized video explainers, and audio news capsules – in real time.

About the Bhashasetu Challenge

The Bhashasetu Challenge invites startups to build AI-driven solutions for real-time translation, transliteration, and voice localization in 12 Indian languages, enabling seamless multilingual communication.

Both challenges are part of the Government of India’s broader mission to foster innovation-led entrepreneurship and strengthen the country’s startup ecosystem.
