Juniper Green Spark Ten Project has reached a major milestone with Juniper Green Energy successfully commissioning an additional ~72 MWp solar component of its ~133 MWp hybrid power project in Solapur district, Maharashtra.
The commissioning was completed on January 10, 2026 – nearly 10 months ahead of the Scheduled Commercial Operations Date – through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Limited.
This commissioning marks the completion of the solar component of the Juniper Green Spark Ten Project, reinforcing the company’s execution capabilities and progress toward full operationalisation of the hybrid facility.

Juniper Green Spark Ten Project Achieves Early Solar Commissioning Milestone
Juniper Green Energy has commissioned the solar capacity of the project in two phases. The first phase of approximately 36 MWp was commissioned on September 25, 2025, followed by the commissioning of an additional ~72 MWp on January 10, 2026.
The Juniper Green Spark Ten Project has a total Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) capacity of 133 MWp hybrid power, consisting of a contracted 108 MWp of solar capacity along with an installed wind capacity of 25 MW.
The PPA for the project was signed on November 18, 2024, with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) for the hybrid project is set for November 17, 2026.

Solar Component Completion Strengthens Juniper Green Spark Ten Project Progress
The commissioning of the solar component represents a key step toward the complete operational readiness of the Juniper Green Spark Ten Project.
Commenting on the development, Ankush Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Green Energy, stated that the early commissioning underscores the company’s ability to deliver projects ahead of schedule while contributing to India’s growing clean energy requirements.
Juniper Green Energy continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio across India. The company recently commissioned India’s first operational merchant Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Once fully commissioned, the BESS project will rank among the largest operating energy storage projects in the country. Following these developments, Juniper Green Energy’s total operational capacity has reached 1.66 GWp.
