Bengaluru: Battery-swapping solutions provider Indofast Energy has partnered with Nexus Select Malls to launch battery swapping stations within shopping malls, marking a new integration of electric mobility infrastructure into high-footfall retail destinations.

The initiative has commenced with the inauguration of Quick Interchange Stations (QIS) at Nexus Shantiniketan and Nexus Whitefield in Bengaluru, making these the first battery swapping facilities introduced across the Nexus Select Malls portfolio.

The rollout is planned to expand to key cities including Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Pune.

By embedding battery swapping infrastructure within shopping malls, the collaboration aims to improve accessibility and convenience for EV users such as daily commuters, gig workers, delivery partners and fleet operators.
