CDSL IPF Rolls Out Multilingual Platform for Financial Education in 12 Indian Languages

Mumbai: The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) has officially launched a new multilingual investor awareness platform, reinforcing its commitment to democratizing financial literacy and empowering investors across India.

The platform was unveiled by Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairperson of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), during the launch of Proxy Advisor Recommendations on the e-Voting system within the Investor App of CDSL and NSDL.

Designed to serve a broad demographic – including new investors, rural participants, and financial enthusiasts – the CDSL IPF website provides simple, jargon-free content to help users navigate securities markets responsibly and confidently.

The platform features articles, infographics, and listicles covering key investment topics, all curated in a user-friendly format.

Available in 12 Regional Languages

In a major push for inclusivity, the investor awareness content is available in 12 languages:
English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi.

This multilingual approach ensures deeper engagement with India’s diverse investor base, spanning both urban and rural geographies.

“True financial inclusion is not just about access – it’s about empowering people through knowledge,” said Sudhish Pillai, CDSL IPF Secretariat. “This platform enhances investor confidence and supports India’s mission to build Atmanirbhar investors.”

Freely Accessible and Regularly Updated

The platform is accessible free of charge at www.cdslipf.com and will be regularly updated with relevant content to reflect evolving market trends, regulations, and investor needs.

Ongoing Investor Education Efforts by CDSL IPF

The launch of this platform complements CDSL IPF’s broader investor education programs, which include hosting Investor Awareness Programs (IAPs) in collaboration with SEBI, Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs), mutual funds, colleges, and financial entities.

These programs target both new and existing investors with educational content in local languages.

In FY 2024–25 alone, CDSL IPF conducted 2,526 IAPs across 34 states and union territories, reaching over 1.47 lakh participants in 513 districts. These efforts reflect CDSL IPF’s commitment to making financial education accessible to all, regardless of geography or background.
