The Sony FX2 camera is powered by a 33MP full-frame back-illuminated CMOS sensor with support for up to QFHD 4K 60p (Super 35mm). It features Sony’s BIONZ XR image processing engine and AI processing unit, ensuring rich detail and high-resolution cinematic visuals.

With 15+ stops of wide dynamic range and dual base ISO (800/4000), the FX2 enables high-quality video capture even in challenging lighting conditions, with expanded sensitivity up to ISO 102400.

The FX2 incorporates S-Cinetone color technology, inherited from Sony’s flagship VENICE cameras, delivering high-end cinematic tones for all types of content.
With 16 user LUTs, creators can preview creative looks in real time, ensuring precise control during production. The camera also supports 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, guaranteeing exceptional color depth and post-production flexibility.
Hybrid Versatility and Enhanced Usability
Expanding beyond video, the Sony FX2 camera introduces a Log Shooting Mode for capturing high-resolution stills and a tiltable 3.68M-dot EVF for adaptable viewing. Its Slow & Quick Motion feature enables recording at up to 60 fps in 4K and 120 fps in Full HD, ideal for dramatic slow-motion storytelling.
The unique BIG6 (Home) Screen consolidates six essential shooting parameters—including frame rate, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, look presets, and white balance—on a single page for faster control.

Pricing and Availability of Sony FX2 Camera in India
The Sony FX2 camera (ILME-FX2) is priced at ₹3,09,990, while the FX2B variant is available at ₹2,89,990. Both models are available starting 11th September 2025 across Sony Authorised Retail Outlets, Sony Camera Lounges, Alpha Flagship Stores, Sony Center, www.ShopatSC.com, leading electronic retailers, and major e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.
