Oura Ring 5 India Launch: Check Price, Features, Battery Life and Availability

Oura Ring 5

Mumbai: ŌURA, a health intelligence platform and maker of smart rings, has announced the launch of Oura Ring 5 in India, introducing a more compact design, next-generation sensing technology, advanced health insights and up to nine days of battery life.

The new smart ring is 40% smaller than Oura Ring 4 and is designed for comfortable, continuous wear. Starting October 22, 2026, Oura Ring 5 will be available for pre-order in India through Amazon and Croma.

“India represents an exciting opportunity for ŌURA as more people look to technology that fits seamlessly into their lives, helping them not just track their health, but better understand it through increasingly personalised and predictive insights,” said George Abbott, Head of EMEA and APAC at ŌURA.

“Oura Ring 5 brings that vision to life: it’s smaller and more comfortable to wear, including during exercise and sport, while giving members a deeper understanding of how their sleep, activity, stress and recovery connect. We’re excited to bring that experience to more people across India.”

Oura Ring 5 Features a Smaller Design for Everyday Wear

Built on more than 12 years of industry-leading innovation, Oura Ring 5 has been re-engineered to deliver a thinner, lighter and more comfortable design without compromising performance.

Crafted from lightweight, non-allergenic titanium, Oura Ring 5 is 40% smaller than Oura Ring 4. Its smoother curvature and low-profile sensor domes are designed to support continuous wear and improve skin contact.

The smart ring features a next-generation sensing architecture that combines more powerful LEDs with 12 optimised signal pathways. This technology is designed to capture clearer and more reliable health signals across a wider range of finger types and skin tones.

The collected signals are translated through the Oura App into personalised, actionable insights covering health, activity and wellbeing.

With a battery life of six to nine days on a single charge, depending on ring size and usage, Oura Ring 5 enables users to track their health continuously throughout the day and night.

Oura Ring 5 will be available in sizes 6 to 13 and six finishes: Black, Silver, Stealth, Brushed Silver, Gold and Deep Rose. The Gold finish has been redesigned in a lighter, modern shade closer to true gold, while Deep Rose features a rich copper-rose finish.

The combination of advanced sensing technology and a discreet design is intended to make the smart ring suitable for everyday use, including exercise and sports.

Oura Ring 5 Brings Advanced Health Insights to India

For members in India, Oura Ring 5 combines its re-engineered sensing technology with ŌURA’s latest health experiences. These features are designed to turn everyday biometric signals into a clearer picture of changing health patterns over time.

The platform offers health monitoring and personalised insights across cardiovascular health, nighttime breathing, medication tracking, women’s health, physical activity, sleep, stress and recovery.

Health Radar: A More Proactive Approach to Health Monitoring

Building on Symptom Radar, which launched in 2024, Health Radar continuously monitors key biometric signals in the background to help members identify meaningful changes and patterns that may warrant attention.

Developed in collaboration with more than 40 in-house medical doctors and PhDs, Health Radar is designed to provide a more proactive view of health, with particular emphasis on cardiovascular health and nighttime breathing.

At the centre of the experience are Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime BP, which provide insights into patterns related to cardiovascular health.

Blood Pressure Signals analyses 30 days of nighttime ring data to help members identify patterns that may indicate cardiovascular strain.

Nighttime BP uses overnight photoplethysmography (PPG) signals to identify blood-pressure-related patterns and longer-term trends that may not be apparent from daytime measurements alone.

Members can also record readings from a blood pressure cuff directly in the Oura App, allowing them to keep these measurements alongside their broader health data.

Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime BP are wellness features. They do not measure blood pressure in mmHg or diagnose any medical condition.

Health Radar also includes Nighttime Breathing, which provides a rolling 30-day view of sleep-related breathing patterns and disturbances.

By examining patterns across multiple nights rather than individual nights, the feature helps members recognise changes over time and understand when further evaluation by a healthcare professional may be warranted.

GLP-1 Insights Connect Medication Tracking With Health Data

Oura Ring 5 is part of a broader health-tracking ecosystem that includes GLP-1 Insights for members taking GLP-1 medications.

The feature brings medication tracking and continuous biometric data together in one place, allowing members to record medication doses, schedules, side effects and weight changes alongside Oura measurements for Sleep, Activity, Readiness and stress.

By connecting medication information with longer-term health trends, GLP-1 Insights helps members understand how their health data and medication use relate over time. The information can also help inform conversations with healthcare providers.

GLP-1 Insights is available in India through the Oura App in English for members using Oura Ring Gen3 or newer.

Women’s Health: Menopause Insights Focuses on Perimenopause

ŌURA’s Menopause Insights experience is designed to help members understand how perimenopause may affect their quality of life, recognising that women’s health experiences vary from person to person.

The experience centres on the Menopause Impact Scale, a research-driven clinical questionnaire developed by ŌURA’s clinical and science teams to assess how much symptoms affect everyday life.

The assessment covers areas such as sleep, mood, cognition and daily functioning. It translates members’ responses into an overall impact level while highlighting the areas contributing most to that assessment.

By providing a clearer picture of how symptoms may affect wellbeing, Menopause Insights is intended to help women better understand their perimenopause journey and have more informed conversations about their health.

Cardio Effort and Automatic VO2 Max Add Workout Insights

Oura Ring 5 is supported by activity-tracking features designed to help members understand how exercise contributes to long-term cardiovascular health.

Cardio Effort measures cardiovascular exertion during workouts and tracks weekly effort against a personalised baseline based on resting heart rate.

Meanwhile, automatic VO2 Max, available through Oura Labs, estimates aerobic fitness using GPS-enabled walks, runs and hikes. The feature does not require users to complete a dedicated walking test.

Together, these activity features provide additional context for understanding exercise intensity and aerobic fitness as part of the broader Oura health-tracking experience.

Oura Ring 5 Price in India and Pre-Order Availability

Oura Ring 5 will be available for pre-order in India from October 22, 2026, through Amazon and Croma. Customers will also be able to pre-order the smart ring at Croma stores across India.

The Oura Ring 5 price in India varies by finish:

  • Silver and Black: ₹39,900
  • Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver: ₹50,900
  • Oura Membership: ₹599 per month, inclusive of taxes

With its smaller design, titanium construction, next-generation sensing technology, personalised health insights and battery life of up to nine days, Oura Ring 5 expands ŌURA’s smart ring offering in the Indian market.

The new device combines continuous biometric tracking with health insights covering sleep, activity, stress, recovery, cardiovascular health and other aspects of wellbeing through the Oura App.
