Locks & Architectural Solutions, a business of the Godrej Enterprises Group, has released findings from VC Live Season 3, its flagship knowledge-sharing initiative hosted under the Godrej Value Co-Creators Club (GVCC).
The series reaffirmed sustainable design as the defining force in the future of urban architecture and planning.
Over the course of five episodes, the Godrej Value Co-Creators Club series engaged architects, urban designers, students, and professionals in vibrant discussions.
Poll responses revealed safety measures as the top priority for urban livability, followed by the demand for pedestrian-friendly streets and efficient public transport systems.

Notably, respondents overwhelmingly identified parks and green spaces as the most urgent requirement for cities, surpassing bike lanes, community centers, and other urban features.
Godrej Value Co-Creators Club Polls Reflect Public Demand for Sustainability
Sustainability was the recurring theme throughout the series. Findings showed that 51% of participants believe the design approach has the greatest impact on sustainability, outweighing the roles of materials and energy efficiency. Moreover, 86% of respondents expressed a desire for more sessions focusing on sustainable and innovative design practices.
Looking ahead, 60% of participants highlighted sustainable design as the most important factor shaping future architecture, ranking it above smart technology and community-driven planning.
Additionally, 41% of respondents prioritized the creation of green and open spaces for the cities of tomorrow, followed closely by calls for climate-friendly infrastructure.
