Mumbai: SUV manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, has introduced Dolby Atmos in the newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX A.
With this move, the SUV becomes the world’s first vehicle under ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom) to offer Dolby Atmos, setting a new benchmark in accessible in-car entertainment.
Dolby Atmos Redefines In-Car Audio Experience
Originally developed for cinemas, Dolby Atmos offers a multidimensional listening experience with enhanced clarity and depth. In cars, it transforms cabins into immersive entertainment spaces, making daily drives or long journeys feel like concert experiences.

The XUV 3XO features a six-speaker audio system, tuned to its cabin architecture for maximum impact. The AX7L variant further elevates the experience with a dedicated subwoofer, delivering deeper bass and cinematic sound quality.
Wider Availability Across Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX A and Variants
Apart from the Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX A, Dolby Atmos will also be offered in the AX5L, AX7, and AX7L variants, all of which will be available to customers from mid-September.

Integration with Gaana Streaming
The infotainment system also integrates with Gaana, enabling passengers to stream Dolby Atmos Music directly inside the vehicle. This feature ensures easy access to premium-quality sound, making commutes and road trips equally engaging.
Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX A: Expanding Mahindra’s Dolby Atmos Portfolio
The XUV 3XO is the fourth Mahindra vehicle line-up to feature Dolby Atmos, following the BE 6, XEV 9e Electric Origin SUVs, and the Thar ROXX. With this milestone, Mahindra continues to democratize premium in-cabin experiences for Indian consumers.
