Piaggio Vehicles Partners with Hinduja Leyland Finance to Boost Three-Wheeler Ownership

Pune: Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL), a 100% subsidiary of the Piaggio Group and a manufacturer of small commercial vehicles in India, has announced a strategic partnership with Hinduja Leyland Finance (HLF) to enhance three-wheeler ownership in the country.

The collaboration will cover Piaggio Vehicles’ entire portfolio, including both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric three-wheelers.

The agreement was signed by Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director of PVPL, and Sachin Pillai, Managing Director & CEO of Hinduja Leyland Finance.

Piaggio Vehicles and HLF to Provide Affordable Financing Solutions

As part of this partnership, Hinduja Leyland Finance will provide customised financing solutions for all Piaggio Vehicles three-wheelers. This initiative is designed to improve affordability, accessibility, and ease of ownership for small entrepreneurs, fleet operators, and independent buyers across India.

Commenting on the collaboration, Diego Graffi, CMD of Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, said, “India’s mobility landscape is evolving rapidly, with a new class of entrepreneurs and fleet operators seeking financing that matches their realities. By joining forces with Hinduja Leyland Finance, we aim to make vehicle ownership simpler, faster, and more accessible for customers nationwide.”

Sachin Pillai, MD & CEO of Hinduja Leyland Finance, noted that the partnership combines HLF’s expertise in vehicle financing with Piaggio Vehicles’ leadership in the three-wheeler segment. He added, “Our financing network and reach will enable customers to acquire and manage their vehicles more efficiently. Together, we aim to support last-mile connectivity, asset ownership, and income generation.”

The collaboration underscores Piaggio Vehicles’ commitment to strengthening its position in the Indian market by offering affordable financing solutions that expand access to both electric and conventional three-wheelers.
