Bharat SkillNxt 2025

New Delhi: At the prestigious Bharat SkillNxt 2025 summit held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India and France signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation in skill development, vocational education, and training.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Education, Government of India.

This agreement marks a transformative step in Indo-French collaboration, spotlighting Bharat SkillNxt 2025 as a pivotal platform for fostering global partnerships in workforce development.

The MoU aims to formalize collaboration between India’s Directorate General of Training (DGT) and France’s Campus des Métiers et Qualifications (CMQ), laying the groundwork for joint action in sectors such as fashion, hospitality, tourism, energy, media, arts and crafts, and aeronautics.

Key Outcomes from Bharat SkillNxt 2025
  • Franco-Indian Vocational Campuses: A proposed network of vocational campuses will connect Indian training centers with the French vocational education ecosystem, encouraging collaboration between industries and educational institutions from both countries.
  • Joint Curriculum Development: The MoU promotes co-creation of industry-relevant curricula, trainer training programs, and French language integration into vocational education.
  • Focus on Women and Inclusion: The partnership prioritizes inclusive skill development initiatives with a strong emphasis on enhancing women’s participation.
