Gurugram: Global EV giant VinFast Auto India has officially started its highly anticipated VinFast electric SUV pre-bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 across the Indian market. This marks a major milestone for the brand following its successful debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.
VinFast Electric SUV pre-bookings can be done either via the company’s official website (VinFastAuto.in) or at VinFast showrooms nationwide, with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000.
Both SUVs will be officially launched in August 2025, coinciding with the inauguration of VinFast’s Thoothukudi manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu.

Locally-Assembled EVs Built for Indian Roads
The VF 6 and VF 7 are designed to meet the growing demand for premium, eco-friendly mobility solutions in India. Built with a strong focus on range, performance, and cutting-edge features, both models address urban and intercity driving needs, eliminating range anxiety while delivering comfort and style.
- VF 7: A bold, spacious electric SUV with Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, connected tech, and an immersive infotainment experience.
- VF 6: Compact yet premium, ideal for families. It features Level 2 ADAS, connected car features, and a design optimized for everyday practicality.
VinFast Electric SUV Pre-Bookings: Dealer Partner Agreements Signed
To ensure seamless ownership, VinFast has signed agreements with 13 dealer partners to open 32 dealerships in 27 cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Cochin, and others.
Additionally, VinFast is partnering with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to create a robust nationwide EV charging and after-sales network, integrating AI-driven diagnostics, real-time charging visibility, and service support through digital platforms.

Driving India’s EV Future from Thoothukudi
VinFast’s upcoming plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, represents a $500 million investment and will have an annual production capacity of 150,000 EVs, generating over 3,500 direct jobs. VinFast Electric SUV pre-bookings are in sync with this plant becoming operational.
