Pune: Tata Technologies (NSE: TATATECH), a global leader in product engineering and digital services, has announced a strategic partnership with Emerson (NYSE: EMR), a pioneer in industrial automation and automotive testing technologies.
The collaboration is focused on co-developing advanced automotive testing and validation solutions tailored for global OEMs in the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle sectors.

By integrating Tata Technologies’ deep capabilities in systems engineering, E/E architecture, and mobility platform design with Emerson’s software-connected test and measurement innovations, the partnership aims to accelerate development timelines, reduce complexity, and improve cost efficiency in validating connected, electric, autonomous, and software-defined vehicles.

Automotive Testing: Development Timelines Accelerated
The early results are promising. In one pilot project with a European luxury automotive OEM, the joint team built EV powertrain test rigs in just five months, achieving a 67% faster delivery timeline compared to industry standards.
In another collaboration, an automated validation system for a next-generation infotainment HUD was developed, capable of executing over 30,000 test scenarios – vastly accelerating product readiness.

Pilot programs under this partnership are already underway in India, Europe, and North America, with plans to expand into more customer engagements and industry-specific solution development for next-generation vehicle platforms.
