Noida International Airport Introduces Uber Pickup Zones

Noida International Airport

New Delhi: In a strategic move to redefine ground transportation for air travellers, Noida International Airport (NIA) has entered into a partnership with Uber, one of India’s leading ride-hailing platforms.

This collaboration aims to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled, and reliable last-mile mobility experience for passengers directly from the airport terminal.

As part of this partnership, dedicated Uber pickup zones will be established within the NIA premises, backed by step-by-step wayfinding guidance and on-ground support staff to ensure a smooth transition from air to ground travel.

The initiative is designed to minimise passenger wait times and improve accessibility, thanks to exclusive parking areas for Uber drivers and improved estimated arrival times.

Convenient and Safe Ride Options from Noida International Airport

Passengers departing from or arriving at Noida International Airport can now enjoy:

  • Real-time ride tracking and accurate ETAs via the Uber mobile app
  • Cashless payments for convenience and transparency
  • In-app safety features, including emergency SOS buttons
  • A variety of ride options including UberGo, Uber Premier, and UberXL
  • Round-the-clock availability for uninterrupted service

“Our goal is to make every part of the passenger journey efficient and comfortable—from door to door,” said Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport. “The availability of app-based mobility solutions like Uber ensures that travellers have access to reliable, secure, and easy last-mile transportation.”

Arnab Kumar, Director of Business Development at Uber India and South Asia, added: “We are proud to partner with Noida International Airport to deliver a smarter and smoother travel experience. This collaboration highlights our shared vision for reliable, tech-powered, and safe last-mile mobility.”

Towards a Multimodal Travel Future

This initiative aligns with NIA’s broader vision of becoming a multimodal transport hub, offering a variety of transit options to cater to every passenger’s needs. In addition to app-based taxis, the airport is working with government bodies and stakeholders to expand public transport, private vehicle access, and parking infrastructure.

With its strategic partnerships and focus on passenger convenience, Noida International Airport is well on track to becoming a major aviation and mobility hub in northern India.
