  • PLI Scheme For Textiles Round 4: Applications Open November 1, Minimum Turnover Cut To ₹100 Crore

    PLI Scheme for Textiles

The Ministry of Textiles will reopen the application portal for the PLI Scheme for Textiles for new applications under Round 4. The portal will be open from November 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

The scheme covers manufacturing of man-made fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics and technical textiles. The ministry says the aim is to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, attract investment and generate employment.

The scheme has three changes. The first is a lower minimum turnover criterion. Under the Part 2 category, the requirement has been reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore.

The ministry says the change enables greater participation by MSMEs and mid-sized manufacturing units.

PLI Scheme for Textiles Round 4: Tenure Extended to FY 2033-34 and Migration Allowed

The second change is a longer tenure. The scheme is extended up to Financial Year 2033-34, exclusively for applicants approved under Round 4.

The third change allows migration. Existing participant companies of Rounds 1, 2 and 3, in any part of the scheme, may move to Round 4.

To be eligible, these companies must not have claimed or received any incentive so far. They must also withdraw their existing applications under Round 1, 2 or 3, as applicable.

Applications are to be submitted on the online portal at pli.texmin.gov.in.

The ministry encourages eligible companies to apply within the stipulated period, in line with the scheme guidelines.
